Simulation of pressure effects in the 122 family of iron pnictides — •Milan Tomić, Roser Valenti, and Harald O. Jeschke — Institut für Theoretische Physik, Johan Wolfgang Goethe Universität, Frankfurt am Main, Germany
In this talk we will present first principles structural relaxations for the Family of 122 iron pnictide materials under hydrostatic and uniaxial pressure. We discuss the properties of the structures predicted at different pressure values and compare to experiment. We determine the critical pressures for the phase transitions in CaFe2As2 and BaFe2As2.
