High Pressure investigation of pressure-induced superconductivity in CaFe2As2 — •Patrick Reuvekamp1, Reinhard Kremer1, Renato Gonnelli2, and Janusz Karpinski31Max-Planck-Institut für Festkörperforschung, Heisenbergstrasse 1, D-70569 Stuttgart, Germany — 2Dipartimento di Fisica and CNISM, Politecnico di Torino, Corso Duca degli Abruzzi 24, 10129 Torino (TO), Italy — 3ETH Zurich, Rämistrasse 101, 8092 Zurich, Switzerland

Since the discovery of superconductivity in iron pnictides, many compounds in this family have been heavily studied due the easily induced superconductivity using chemical doping. In the case of CaFe2As2, high pressure can be used to establish and tune superconductivity instead. In this investigation, the phase diagram and the pressure induced onset/disappearance of superconductivity were studied using ac-resistive measurements in magnetic fields up to 11 T.
