Application of fastNLO to Jet Analyses — •Klaus Rabbertz1, Thomas Kluge2, and Markus Wobisch3 — 1KIT, Karlsruhe — 2Hamburg — 3Louisiana Tech University, Ruston, USA
The fastNLO concept drastically accelerates repeated evaluations of NLO calculations, for example of jet cross sections in hadron collisions, with different scales, PDFs or values of the strong coupling alpha_s. Furthermore, the flexible internal design allows the inclusion and simultaneous treatment of additional contributions like from threshold corrections or new physics processes. The application of fastNLO is demonstrated for exemplary jet analyses.
