Study of b-tag efficiencies in ttbar events in the CMS Experiment — •Igor Marfin — DESY, Platanenallee 6 15738 Zeuthen

The identification of b-quarks is a key method for the study of physics at the TeV scale. In this analysis CMS data recorded in 2010 are used to calibrate the b-jet identification from ttbar event samples. These samples contain isolated jets with a highly enriched b-jet content. A likelihood ratio method is studied and its b-tagging performance is estimated on the selected b-jet enriched samples. In my presentation, I will show first resulst on estimated values of the btagging efficiencies obtained from data in 2010.
