H→ WW→ eν µν analysis with the ATLAS detector — •Olivier Arnaez, Volker Buescher, Sebastian Moritz, and Christian Schmitt — JGU Mainz, Mainz, D
A large part of the physics program at LHC consists in searching the missing piece of the Standard Model, the Higgs boson. One of the golden channels for mass hypotheses between 120 and 200 GeV is the H→ WW→ eν µν decay. Indeed, these two isolated leptons associated with a large missing transverse energy form a clear signature providing low background. Nevertheless, to increase the sensitivity of the analysis, it is important to select low pT leptons. This talk will give an overview over the H→ WW→ eν µν analysis in ATLAS with a special focus on the lepton performance.
