Search for high energetic γ-rays from Supernova explosions with H.E.S.S. — •Dirk Lennarz and Wilfried Domainko — Max-Planck-Institut für Kernphysik
Supernova (SN) explosions are among the most energetic phenomena in the known universe. It was suggested that TeV γ-ray radiation is produced in young SNe on time scales of a few weeks to years. The mechanisms are based on the interaction of pulsar accelerated particles with the SN shell or the collision of the SN shocks with a dense circumstellar medium. A newly produced SN catalogue is used to identify coincidental observation of H.E.S.S. with a young SN in the field of view. In this talk the analysis of these observations is presented.
