In-plane/out-of-plane resistivity anisotropy of Co-doped BaFe2As2 — •Oleksii Vakaliuk, Manoj Kumar, Saicharan Aswartham, Sabine Wurmehl, Christian Hess, and Bernd Büchner — IFW Dresden
We present an experimental study of the in-plane and out-of-plane electrical resistivities (ρab, ρc respectively) of Ba(Fe1−xCox)2As2 with x=0; 0.05; 0.075; 0.1; 0.125. The anisotropy γ = ρc/ ρab is temperature independent. This suggests an isotropic electron scattering mechanism. We observe a monotonic decrease of γ with changing the doping, suggestive of 2D-3D crossover of the electron structures.
