Measurement of isolated photons with jets in deep inelastic ep scattering with the ZEUS detector at HERA — •Oleg Kuprash — Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron DESY, Notkestraße 85, 22607 Hamburg, Germany

Inclusive production of isolated high-energy photons accompanied by jets has been measured in deep inelastic ep scattering with the ZEUS detector at HERA. Isolated photons are emitted by the electron or the quarks participating in the hard scattering process. Photons do not undergo a hadronisation process and can provide direct information about the underlying physics process. For this analysis, a shower shape method has been used in order to separate the signal of isolated photons and the background of photons from decays of neutral mesons. The signal fraction is enhanced by requiring an accompanying hadronic jet. Differential cross sections of the production of isolated photons with jets are compared to theoretical predictions.
