Remote controlling of power supplies in the ANKA Storage Ring — •Edmund Hertle, N. Smale, S. Marsching, A.-S. Müller, and E. Huttel — ANKA, Karlsruhe

ANKA, the synchrotron radiation facility at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, is using many different power supplies for operations. Remote controlling these devices is essential because during operation access is not possible due to radiation safety. In this talk the developed interface and integration into the general control system is introduced. The power supply supports internal ramping, which is investigated in detail and compared to external ramping operation.
