Latest AGN discoveries with the MAGIC telescopes — •Gessica De Caneva, Karsten Berger, Elina Lindfors, Saverio Lombardi, Nijil Mankuzhiyil, Michele Palatiello, David Paneque, Massimo Persic, Julian Sitarek, and Malwina Uellenbeck — The MAGIC Collaboration

The MAGIC experiment is a system of two Imaging Atmospheric Cherenkov Telescopes (IACT) located in the Canary Island of La Palma. Thanks to its energy threshold at ∼ 50 GeV, and its excellent sensitivity, MAGIC is playing a leading role in the discovery of new Very High Energy gamma ray (VHE; E ≥ 100   GeV) extragalactic sources, and in particular blazars, Active Galactic Nuclei (AGNs) with the relativistic jet axis pointed toward the observer.

Since IACTs have a limited field of view (3.5 degrees in case of MAGIC) we make use of surveys in other wavebands, e.g. Optical, X-ray, High Energy gamma ray (HE; 100 MeV ≤ E ≤ 100   GeV). In particular we trigger Target of Opportunity Observations (ToOs), if the sources are in a high activity state in any of those wavebands. Two of the latest detections are sources which were selected from the compilation of Costamante & Ghisellini 2002.

In this contribution, we report on the latest MAGIC detections and compare the results with those achieved from the VHE observations performed with the single telescope MAGIC-I. We also investigate the multiwavelength behavior of these sources, in particular the simultaneous optical measurements obtained with the KVA telescope.
