Abstract:

UV-light is widely used in various industrial applications, such as curing in the printing industry, disinfection of water, air, packaging, etc. The presentation gives a short overview about the main lamp types their typical parameters and applications. In focus are: mercury based lamps, excimer and pulsed lamps. The advantages of every lamp type are presented and discussed.
