Measurement of the charge asymmetry in the top quark pair dilepton channel in ppbar collision data at s=7 TeV using the ATLAS detector — •Cécile Deterre — DESY, Hamburg, Germany

The charge asymmetry AC in top quark pair production events foresees an excess of top quarks along the incoming quark direction with respect to antiquarks. This asymmetry is measured in the dilepton channel with a dataset corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.71 fb−1 taken at √s = 7 TeV at the ATLAS experiment. A likelihood based on the calculation of the leading order matrix-element is used to reconstruct the ttbar event topology. After background subtraction, a calibration is applied to correct for acceptance and detector effects. Two charge asymmetry observables are studied: one based on the lepton rapidities AC(ll) and one based on the reconstructed ttbar final state AC(ttbar). I will present the latest results for each of the three channels (dielectron, electron-muon and dimuon), as well as the combination of these channels for the two observables.
