Search for Supersymmetry in final states with four or more leptons in √s=8 TeV pp collisions with the ATLAS detector — •Federico Sforza, Maximilian Goblirsch-Kolb, Michael Flowerdew, and Hubert Kroha — Max-Planck-Institut für Physik, München
The large amount of pp collision data collected by the ATLAS detector with a center of mass energy of 8 TeV allows the search for a variety of Supersymmetry scenarios. In particular, final states with high lepton multiplicity, missing transverse energy and large effective mass are favored by several supersymmetric models, and the Standard Model background is expected to be low.
This talk describes in detail the methods applied for the analysis of such multi-lepton final state. In particular the event selection, the background estimate and the statistical analysis are discussed. The final results are analyzed in the context of several R-Parity violating supersymmetric models.
