The discovery of iron based superconductors (SC) in 2008, motivated the intensive investigation of characteristic properties of differently doped single crystals. In particular, the analysis of the temperature dependent magnetic penetration depth λ(T) and the properties of the vortex arrangement are important parameters to characterize a SC.
Quantitative magnetic force microscopy (MFM) enables the determination of these quantities. The measured MFM signal is a convolution between the stray field of a magnetic flux line and the magnetization of the tip. To be able to extract λ(T) from the measured data different methods exists. We show, that the commonly used monopole-monopole model[1,2] can be replaced by a more convenient tip calibration procedure[3] and a more realistic description of the magnetic flux line‘s stray field.
Furthermore we extracted the vortex arrangement by statistical evaluation methods.
