Construction of quantum field theories by deformation techniques — •Gandalf Lechner — Institut für Theoretische Physik, Universität Leipzig
This talk reviews recent approaches to constructing quantum field theory models on Minkowski spacetime by operator-algebraic deformation techniques. The links of this topic to (deformation) quantization, constructive quantum field theory, models in conformal QFT, massive integrable models, and non-commutative geometry will be discussed. An overview of the known results as well as an outlook to open questions will be given.
