Investigation of spin systems with anisotropy using the Finite-Temperature Lanczos-Method — •Oliver Hanebaum and Jürgen Schnack — Universität Bielefeld, Germany
We calculate approximate partititon functions and magnetization as well as the effective magnetic moment of spin systems with Hilbert space dimension up to 1010. The Hamiltonian contains a Heisenberg part, anisotropic exchange and local anisotropy as well as a g-tensor. Observables are obtained by the finite-temperature Lanczos-method.
