Nanojunctions on Epitaxial Graphene — •Konrad Ullmann and Heiko B. Weber — Lehrstuhl für Angewandte Physik, FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany
We will report on the fabrication and characterization of graphene nanojunctions, created on epitaxial graphene (0001). Micrometer-sized constrictions are fabricated by electron-beam lithography. By a current driven process similar to electromigration, nanojunctions can reproducible be fabricated. The nanojunctions give access to the formation of single-molecule junctions with graphene electrodes.
