Disentangling the Decay Observables in B⁻ → π⁺π⁻ℓ⁻ν_ℓ — Sven Faller, Thorsten Feldmann, Alexander Khodjamirian, Thomas Mannel, and •Danny van Dyk — Universität Siegen, Siegen, Deutschland

We report on recent studies of the semileptonic decay B⁻ → π⁺π⁻ℓ⁻ν_ℓ, introducing B→ ππ form factors in the helicity basis. Our results include the decomposition into partial waves of the dipion, angular observables that provide null tests of the Standard Modell, and form factor relations in the heavy-quark and the large-energy limits. We also report on progress in the calculation of B⁻→π⁺π⁻ form factors in two regions of the phase space, using Heavy Hadron Chiral Perturbation Theory as well as QCD Factorization.
