Top quark mass effects in Higgs boson pair production at the LHC — •Jonathan Grigo1, Jens Hoff1, Kirill Melnikov2, and Matthias Steinhauser1 — 1Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Karlsruhe, Germany — 2Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, USA
Higgs boson pair production is considered at next-to-leading order in QCD in the Standard Model. We compute the total cross section, including corrections of inverse powers of the top quark mass which turn out to be numerically important. We discuss their relevance for the determination of the triple Higgs coupling.
