The Tunka-HiSCORE 9-station array: station design and first data analysis — •Sergey Epimakhov1, Martin Brückner2, Dieter Horns1, Maike Helena Kunnas1, Nachtigall Rayk1, Porelli Andrea3, Rüger Manuel2, and Wischnewski Ralf3 for the Tunka-HiSCORE collaboration — 1Institut für Experimentalphysik, Universität Hamburg — 2Institut für Informatik, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin — 3DESY

HiSCORE is a concept of a non-imaging wide-angle EAS Cherenkov array designed to search for gamma ray sources above 10 TeV and to investigate spectrum and composition of cosmic rays above 100TeV. An engineering array with nine stations was deployed in October 2013 on site of the Tunka experiment in Russia. We describe design and performance of the optical stations and the readout system. We estimate the energy threshold and present comparison to MC simulation.
