Inclusive and differential single top t-channel production cross sections are measured in pp collisions at √s = 8 TeV with the CMS detector, using a total integrated luminosity of 19.7fb−1. The differential cross section is measured as a function of the transverse momentum of the reconstructed top quark. The measurements are performed using the lepton+jets (muon/electron) final state. We use several kinematic variables for the separation of signal from background. We combine these variables in a neural network and apply a cut on the neural network discriminator to get a signal sample that is as pure as possible. The number of background events in each bin is subtracted and detector effects are corrected by applying unfolding to the transverse momentum of the reconstructed top quark.
