We investigated Rh-doped BaFe2As2 by means of electrical and heat transport. The underdoped compounds show a clear suppression of phononic heat transport in the intermediate temperature regime above the structural transition temperature TS and up to 170 K. We interprete this suppression as a strong indication towards electron-phonon coupling, spin-phonon coupling or lattice softening by nematic fluctuations above the structural transition. Additionally, strong anomalies mark the structural and superconducting transition.
