Bandwidth limited ns and fs sources based on the Innoslab concept — •Hans Dieter Hoffmann — Steinbachstraße 15
The INNOSLAB concept combines outstanding thermal management, efficiency and average power in the 100 W to single kW power range at ns to fs pulse duration based on Yb doped crystals. Recent results of fs amplifiers will be shown.
For LIDAR applications Innoslab lasers based on different Nd doped crystals have been developed. Bandwidth limited single frequency pulses with pulse energy up to 400 mJ have been demonstrated. For Satellite and jet based operation a rugged high precision mouting technology free of outgassing effects has been developed. Direct wavelength generation by modified laser crystals and nonlinear converters like OPO have been compared as options for meeting the wavelength of greenhouse gases.
