Early dilepton ttbar cross section measurements at 13 TeV with the ATLAS experiment — •Abigail O'Rourke for the ATLAS collaboration — DESY, Hamburg, Germany

The extraction of the ttbar cross section in the dilepton channel is studied. The dilepton channel provides a clean signature and small background, allowing for sensitive measurements with the relatively low integrated luminosity that will be available early after the LHC startup in 2015. Tests of the cross section extraction are performed on 8 TeV data and MC samples, in preparation for a first measurement with 13 TeV data.
