Determining SUSY parameters at the ILC — •Suvi-Leena Lehtinen, Jenny List, and Annika Vauth — DESY, Hamburg, Germany
The International Linear Collider will be used to search for evidence of supersymmetry. If supersymmetry is realized, the question is what is the mechanism of supersymmetry breaking. The mechanism is defined by the SUSY model and its parameter values. The parameter values are constrained but not specified by existing experimental results, such as the properties of the b-quark and the Dark Matter relic density. Assuming a set of LHC and ILC observables, e.g. sparticle masses, cross-sections and their erros, the observables are smeared and a SUSY parameter fit is performed with the program Fittino. The idea is to investigate which set of observables and measurement precision is needed to pin down the underlying high-scale SUSY parameters. This knowledge would help optimise the ILC running time. I will show an example of a fit with a benchmark scenario in the pMSSM.
