Interpretations and Projections of SUSY Searches in the pMSSM — •Svenja Schumann, Christian Sander, Lukas Vaneldren, Jan Hofmann, and Nelson Nelle — University of Hamburg

The MSSM has 120 free parameters which is too much for phenomenological studies. Therefor the pMSSM with 19 free parameters is more suited as a possible parametrization of the supersymmetric parameter space. The LHC searches at 7 and 8 TeV have excluded a significant fraction of the pMSSM parameter space. In this talk we want to like to address the question how we can increase the sensitivity of searches to pMSSM models further. Therefor the topology decomposition of the non excluded pMSSM models is studied. From this we learn that a large part of the non excluded pMSSM models consists of models which produce mainly low jet multiplicities and MET. With a focus on these models the expected performance of existing searches and possible improvements for LHC run 2 are studied.
