The Status of B-Physics Anomalies — •Wolfgang Altmannshofer — Perimeter Institute, Waterloo, Canada
B Physics plays a crucial role in the search for physics beyond the Standard Model. Rare decays of B mesons, as well as B meson mixing, are processes that are highly sensitive to the presence of new physics. During the last years, several discrepancies between the Standard Model predictions and the experimental data have appeared in the B meson system. In this talk, I will review the status of these "anomalies". In particular, I will focus on the implications for new physics, both model independently and in the context of concrete new physics models.
