Measurement of Z→ee boson plus inclusive jets production at √s = 8 TeV using ATLAS data — •Nataliia Kondrashova — DESY, Hamburg, Germany

Measurement of Z→ee boson plus inclusive jets production using ATLAS detector at the LHC is presented. The measurement uses the data collected in 2012 at √s = 8 TeV corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 20.3 fb⁻¹. The process is sensitive to gluon PDF and thus the new data can provide important input for PDF fits. The measurement may be affected by the presence of jets close to the electrons from Z decay, the impact of this effect is investigated. Comparison with NLO MC prediction is presented.
