The search for the Higgs ditau decay mode is highly relevant for the understanding of the Higgs sector as a whole. In order to further suppress background from wrongly identified τ leptons, lifetime information for the τ decay can be employed. Experimental studies covering various decay branches from single charge pion decay modes to three charge pion decay modes are presented.
