Measurement of the WWW*→ lν lν lν final state in pp collisions at √s = 8 TeV with the ATLAS detector — •Martina Pagacova for the ATLAS experiment collaboration — University of Freiburg, Freiburg, Germany
The Standard Model, a gauge theory based on three fundamental symmetries, is very successul in describing currently available data. However, there are still some processes that are predicted by SM but have not been observed yet, such as electroweak processes with the Quartic Gauge boson Couplings (QGC). There are only two classes where a QGC contributes: triple gauge boson production (e.g. WWW) and vector boson scattering. The main aim of the analysis presented is to measure the fiducial cross-section of the WWW*→ lν lν lν final state with the ATLAS detector and compare it to the theoretically predicted value. This measurement will be also used to test SM by setting limits on anomalous QGC.
