Search for new physics in b→ s e+e− decays — •Dennis Loose — TU Dortmund University, Dortmund, Germany
In summer 2014 the LHCb collaboration published their results on the measurement of the observable RK=B(B→ K µ+µ−)/B(B→ Ke+e−), which revealed a deviation of 2.6σ from the Standard Model prediction. I check whether the deviation can be explained by scalar and pseudo-scalar dimension-six operators and investigate constraints from other measurements in a model-independent way. Furthermore, I analyse the contributions of the new operators to the angular distribution of B→ Ke+e− decays.
