Explaining RK with leptoquarks — •Ismo Toijala — TU Dortmund, Dortmund, Germany
LHCb measured RK = B(B → K µ µ) / B(B → K e e) to have a 2.6 σ deviation from the Standard Model prediction of lepton universality. Leptoquarks having different couplings to electrons and muons can be used to explain this observation. We present constraints on leptoquark masses and couplings using data from b → s transitions and direct searches.
