In 2012 the ATLAS and CMS collaborations announced the discovery of a Higgs-like boson with a mass of 125 GeV. Since then, many analyses are working on measurements of its properties to completely unravel the nature of this resonance. We want to focus on the study of the CP couplings of a Higgs boson decaying into tau lepton pairs, since this channel is particularly suited in this respect. Our approach is based on studying the distribution of a signed angle φCP* between the decay planes of the τ’s, whic is sensitive to the Higgs CP properties. However, the expected discrimination power between CP-even and CP-odd on generator level gets worse at the reconstruction level. An investigation of this worsening effect via Monte Carlo studies is presented.
