The Z→ττ→ e+µ cross section measurement in Run 2 with the CMS experiment — •Yiwen Wen — DESY, Hamburg, Germany
The discovery of a 125 GeV Higgs boson at the Large Hadron Collider was a great success for standard model particle physics. Drell-Yan Z→ ττ production can be used as standard candle for the H→ ττ analysis. This work focuses on Z→ ττ decay in e+µ final states with Run 2 data, collected at a proton-proton centre of mass energy of 13 TeV by the CMS experiment, and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.1 fb−1.
