Principles and applications of optical switching assisted imaging and structuring schemes — •David Köhne, Claudia Geisler, Peter Simon, and Alexander Egner — Laser-Laboratorium Goettingen, Germany
In this work, an innovative approach is presented for lithography on transparent materials. This new lithography technique uses a primary laser in the visible range (440 nm wavelength) with low pulse energies (100 nJ) and short pulse duration (40 ps) to imprint micrometer size features on the surface of the sample. The use of a second red-shifted laser, incoherently superimposed to the primary laser, allows a precise control over the size of the imprinted features.
