Everybody knows the phenomenon which can often be seen in movies: A singer sings at a glass with such a high volume that the glass will break. The precondition is that the singer meets the resonance frequency. Shortly before the glass breaks interesting oscillation patterns occure. We study these patterns and the relevant parameters they depend on.
