Under shear, a glass may exhibit the transition from an elastically deformed state to plastic flow. The nature of the yield point at which this transition occurs is a highly debated issue. We use molecular dynamics simulation to study a model of a Ni80P20 glass under oscillatory shear. Recently, we have shown that the yielding in this system can be associated with a directed percolation transition of mobile regions [1-3]. Under oscillatory shear, the occurrence of a yielding transition depends on the maximal strain amplitude, γmax, in each cycle. We show that the time scale at which the transition occurs diverges at a finite value of γmax.
