We investigate the potential existence of a superconducting phase in hole doped Sr2IrO4. Based on the mean field calculations, a mixed singlet-triplet superconductivity due to spin-orbit coupling has been found. Our calculation on a nanoribbon geometry shows possible existence of the topologically peotected edge states while the spin-triplet gap is larger than the spin-singlet one. Finally, we propose an innovative route for experimental observation of the edge states based on the quasiparticle interference (QPI) pattern.
