We present a complete quantum optical description of a Mach-Zehnder interferometer, including a Dove prism, which is rotated by a small angle compared to the plane of incidence [1]. The Dove prism changes polarization and rotates the mode function in one arm of the interferometer.
We can then postselect photons at the output via polarization and identify a weak value in the correlation function of first order. This allows us to weakly measure the angle, by which the mode function was rotated.
Furthermore, we evaluate this interferometric set-up for specific non-classical states.
