Moiré Imaging: Improvement of the reconstruction algorithm and simulations for visibility optimization — •Maria Seifert, Michael Gallersdörfer, Florian Horn, Veronika Ludwig, Georg Pelzer, Jens Rieger, Max Schuster, Thilo Michel, and Gisela Anton — ECAP - Erlangen Center of Astroparticle Physics, Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Erwin-Rommel-Straße 1, 91058 Erlangen
Single-shot Moiré imaging is a promising feature for differential phase-contrast imaging as it gives the opportunity to reduce dose and to speed up the imaging process compared with the grating based approach without losing sensitivity in dark-field image as in propagation based approaches. Nevertheless, the spatial resolution is reduced.
In this contribution reconstruction techniques to reduce or even to overcome this disadvantage of Moiré imaging are presented. Furthermore, the interferometer has to be detuned to observe Moiré fringes. This leads to a loss in visibility. With the help of simulation, setup and measurement properties are optimized to get the best visibility as possible. The results of the simulation are presented.
