First observation of the decays Λb0→Λc+D(*)0K− with the LHCb experiment — •Marian Stahl for the LHCb collaboration — Physikalisches Institut, Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg
The decays Λb0→Λc+D(*)0K− allow to search
for the open charm decays Λc+D(*)0 of the Pc pentaquark candidates
recently discovered by LHCb.
Here, the first observation of Λb0→Λc+D(*)0K− is
reported and its branching fraction relative to Λb0→ Λc+ Ds−
is measured. Charm hadrons are reconstructed in the pK−π+, K+π− and
K+K−π− final states for Λc+, D0 and Ds− respectively. The
decay involving D*(2007)0 is partially reconstructed with a missing π0 or γ.
A future amplitude analysis will profit from an optimized selection of signal candidates and the
determination of efficiencies across the Λc+D(*)0K− Dalitz plots, carried out in this analysis.
