In 2012 the discovery of a Higgs boson with mass of 125 GeV was announced by the ATLAS and CMS collaborations. Since then, efforts have focused on the measurement of its properties and thus the complete determination of the nature of this particle. We study the CP quantum number of the Higgs boson in its decay into tau lepton pairs. Our approach uses the distribution of the signed angle ϕCP* between the decay planes of the tau leptons, which is sensitive to the Higgs boson’s CP properties. The sensitivity of the observable is investigated by studying the resolution effects due to different sources. In particular, the reconstruction of the primary vertex and of the track impact parameters is a crucial point for the present analysis. In this talk the understanding and strategy to improve the reconstruction of these objects will be presented.
