Organo lead halide perovskites, such as methylammonium lead iodide (MAPI), have attracted great attention to the field of thin film photovoltaics due to their outstanding electrical and optical properties. The mobility and the lifetime of photogenerated charge carriers are among the fundamental quantities which define the performance of solar cell devices. In this work, we perform combined analysis of transients, provided by two electodeless characterisation techniques: time-resolved microwave conductivity (TRMC) and time-resolved photoluminescence (TRPL). Complementary TRMC and TRPL characterisation of perovskite thin films aims to improve numerical fits and provide characteristic lifetimes as global fit parameters.
