Low temperaturate properties of B20 compounds — •Timur Yasko, Georg Benka, Andreas Bauer, Christian Oberleitner, Alexander Engelhardt, and Christian Pfleiderer — Lehrstuhl für Topologie korrelierter Systeme, Technische Universität München, Garching, Germany

Transition-metal mono-silicides crystallizing in the non-centrosymmetric space group P213 have been studied for decades due to a wide range of complex magnetic and electronic properties. Recently, the diamagnetic metal CoSi was proposed as a potential candidate material for hosting Weyl-type excitations [1]. We report on the growth of large high-quality single crystals by means of the optical floating-zone technique. Following a thorough metallurgical characterization, we present a comprehensive study of the intriguing low-temperature magnetic and transport properties of CoSi.
