The low temperature properties of LiHoF4, representing a model system for a magnetic field tuned quantum phase transition, have been investigated for over two decades. Despite recent experimental and theoretical efforts, details of the experimentally inferred magnetic phase diagram remain inconsistent with theoretical predictions. In our study, we revisit magnetic transverse susceptibility measurements at low temperatures. We find evidence for the influence of the hyperfine coupling on the magnetic transverse susceptibility, yielding insights to the dynamic properties of the quantum phase transition.
