Gravitational lense: Observation with our school observatory and calculation with the Huygens Principle — Hans-Otto Carmesin1,2,3 and •Berfin Özbek1 — 1Gymnasium Athenaeum, Stade — 2Studienseminar Stade — 3Universität Bremen
We present our photograph of the twin quasar obtained with our school observatory. We cannot observe other gravitational lenses with our school telescope. We explain this by application of the Heisenberg uncertainty relation and we experience this relation via the resolution of our eyes. We construct the paths taken by the light. For this we generalize the Huygens Elementary Waves for an application in spacetime and apply these. Therefrom we derive the formula for the angle of deflection.
