This contribution reports on the measurements of the e+ e− → p p cross section using the initial state radiation technique at the BESIII experiment in Beijing. Two independant analyses with detected and undetected initial state radiation photons have been perfomered. The two analyses are based on data sets, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 7.4 fb−1, collected at center of mass energies between 3.773 and 4.600 GeV. The results on the measured e+ e− → p p cross section and the proton form factors in the time-like region are presented.
