Search for ccss exotic states in B decays at Belle — •Ashish Thampi1, Elisabetta Prencipe1, Soeren Lange2, and James Ritman1 — 1IKP-1, Forschungszentrum Juelich — 2Physikalisches Institut II, JLU Giessen
The B → J/ψφ K transition most likely proceeds as a three body decay. Investigating this decay is important in the search for possible ccss exotic states in the J/ψφ invariant mass system. Indeed LHCb has confirmed enhancements at 4140, 4274, 4500 and 4700 MeV/c2 by studying the charged B meson decays. In order to provide a better understanding of the process and understanding the nature of these enhancements, we have analyzed the J/ψφ invariant mass system produced in both, charged and neutral B meson decays, B± → J/ψφ K± and B0 → J/ψφ K0. This analysis uses 711 fb−1 integrated luminosity data collected at the energy in the center of mass of Υ(4S) resonance by the Belle detector during the years 1999-2010. MC studies for evaluating the branching ratio and the study of the J/ψφ invariant mass system are shown.
