Neutron matter at finite temperature based on chiral effective field theory interactions — •Jonas Keller1,2, Kai Hebeler1,2, Corbinian Wellenhofer1,2, and Achim Schwenk1,2,3 — 1Institut für Kernphysik, Technische Universität Darmstadt — 2ExtreMe Matter Institute EMMI, GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung GmbH — 3Max-Planck-Institut für Kernphysik, Heidelberg
We study the equation of state of neutron matter at finite temperature based on two- and three-nucleon interactions from chiral effective field theory. The free energy, pressure, entropy and internal energy are expanded in many body pertubation theory around the self-consistent Hartree-Fock solution. All calculations are performed including three-nucleon contributions without employing normal-ordering approximations, and include theoretical uncertainty estimates.
