We report an electron spin resonance (ESR) study on single crystals of Na2Co2TeO6, a layered honeycomb material providing a possible realization of Kitaev physics [1]. Similar to previously conducted magnetization measurements [1], ESR data reveals magnetic anisotropy and interesting, complex angular and temperature dependent behavior. In addition, low-energy magnetic excitations can be examined. Our results contribute to a thorough understanding of the magnetic properties and spin correlations in the title compound.
